Talk It Out presented with two top awards from the Public Relations Society of America, North Carolina Chapter

The North Carolina Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission’s Initiative to Reduce Underage Drinking recently received statewide recognition for its work on the ‘Talk It Out’ campaign, a multi-media awareness campaign focused on encouraging parents to talk with their kids about the dangers of underage drinking.

Talk It Out Phase III won the 2017 Silver Award of Excellence for Integrated Communications and the 2017 Silver ‘Best In Show’ Award.

“The North Carolina Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission is pleased with this recognition, and we appreciate the award. But, the most important thing about the Talk It Out campaign is that the parents and children of our state are talking about underage drinking. That’s continuing to happen thanks to this award-winning outreach,” said NC ABC Commission Chairman A.D. “Zander” Guy.

The North Carolina Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America Silver InSpire Awards are presented to organizations or individuals who have successfully addressed a contemporary issue with professional skill, creativity, and resourcefulness.
