What is the Family Movie Night Spring Giveaway?

Spring is a season of fresh starts, longer days, and reconnecting as a family. This spring, Talk It Out NC is giving families a reason to slow down, spend time together, and enjoy a fun, alcohol-free night out. Whether it’s sharing popcorn, debating what movie to go see, or talking about what’s happening at school, small moments make a big impact.

To encourage more family time across North Carolina, we’re awarding 10 winners a $150 Fandango® e-gift card, redeemable online at Fandango.com or through the Fandango® app at major theaters including AMC, Regal, Cinemark, Marcus, and more statewide. Enter by March 15, 2026, to win!

Why We Encourage Family Time

Spending quality time together is one of the best ways to keep the lines of communication open in your family. When children and teens feel heard, validated, and respected by their parents and other trusted adults, they’re less likely to engage in risky behaviors like underage drinking.

A simple family movie night can:

  • Create opportunities for relaxed conversation
  • Help families reconnect during busy schedules
  • Reinforce shared values and expectations
  • Offer a fun, alcohol-free way to spend time together

At Talk It Out NC, we believe prevention starts with connection, and connection starts with conversation.
