Description: Programs to help individuals with substance abuse issues break the cycle of abuse, reduce recidivism, and educate them on the risks involved with substance abuse. The organization also works to create more educational and leadership opportunities and enhance life skills while helping with treatment and recovery.

Why This Project Was Chosen: This program offers youths who are involved in the criminal justice system as a result of alcohol or substance abuse alternatives to incarceration and damaging their future.

Who This Project Impacted: Youth involved in the criminal justice system in our county because of alcohol or substance abuse.

  • Community Service – 94 11-15-year-old youth with histories of substance abuse
    • Program completion rate 95%

  • Restorative Justice – 37 11-17-year-old youth with offenses/charges or history of substance abuse

  • YODA Educational Program – 109 youth participated with 48 pending completion

  • Clean Teens – 14 15-18-year-old young adults with substance abuse, sport/teams drug test failures, and probation plans for substances
